Operations Engineer – 2nd Level Support for Cloud Services (m/f/x)


  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our public customer systems in complex cloud environments in cooperation with internal and external partners
  • Implementation and continuous further development of system monitoring (event management) for early detection and avoidance of incidents
  • 2nd level ticket handling, remote analysis and troubleshooting as part of incident management and problem management
  • Continuous advancement of product improvements and introduction of new tools & technologies in the product & operating environment
  • A two-shift operation and on-call service form the team framework


  • Very good knowledge of networks, heterogeneous IT infrastructures, servers and operating systems as well as experience in IT support and handling ticket systems
  • In-depth expertise in the operation of monitoring solutions based on open source (Centreon, Nagios), setup and optimization of queries and checks, log analysis and report generation
  • Experienced in the administration of relational databases and mail systems (Postfix), DNS (Bind)
